Welcome To My House

A single mom of two who is simultaneously working to create a whole new world. At least, that’s the dream. 

Hi! I’m Jess. Welcome to my blog - or as I’m currently thinking of it, my new home vision board as I rebuild my life as a single mom who found herself having to start from scratch. Although I may or may not have gotten royally screwed over to land here, this space is meant to be hopeful and upbeat, creative and magical, exploratory and light as I find my way to my new home, and decorate it (finally) the way I actually want to. 

We can try new things, diy, share stories, laugh and even cry at times. We can share our favorite things from the past as well as our new finds, read some books, and bust some rhymes! Or maybe some poetry instead. Sky’s the limit I say. At the end of the day, I’d like this to be a safe space where growth and support can be encouraged, and I can share my life instead of always feeling like I need to blend into the wallpaper. Ooh! We can talk about wallpaper too 🤔. It can be a personal diary AND a meeting of the minds. All while finding my soul tribe. Sounds like the life I want to live.
